What project we have for you
Our client is big international bank from the TOP-20 rank. The Data Platform is a distributed, high redundancy, high throughput global distribution platform for mission-critical financial data. It provides best-in-class reference data delivery across all of Company’s businesses, supporting more than 400 internal client applications. The Platforms ensures that data delivery is fast, secure, fault-tolerant and always available while providing high flexibility for integrations between disparate systems along with extensive customizability for subscribing to data events.
The FS&I team is building a solution for managing data governance, compliance requirements, and data-driven revenue generation for a globally recognized banking institution. You will be part of the international product team.
What you will do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand and analyze data requirements
- Lead the design and implementation of data models and database structures that meet business needs
- Profile, refactor, and tune performance in the database
- Design and implement complex ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through robust data quality assurance measures
- Review and support team members, providing guidance and mentorship
- Supervise and contribute to the data-driven strategy for the project, aligning it with business objectives
What you need for this
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with at least one programming language (Python/Scala/Java)
- Excellent understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB will be a plus)
- 4+ years of experience with cloud services: AWS or Azure,
- 4+ years of experience with Databricks and PySpark
- Good knowledge of Data Governance, Data Catalog, Master Data Management principles and tools (Collibra will be a plus)
- Good knowledge of ETL/ELT/Orchestration frameworks and tools (Airflow, ADF, Glue, Nifi, dbt will be a plus)
- Excellent understanding of “design & developing” patterns and practices for data streaming and batch processing (Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Spark Structured Streaming will be a plus)
- Proficient in code versioning (git) and implementing CI/CD practices
- Highly driven, positive attitude, solid team player, self-motivated and very flexible
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting

- Collaborate in a cross-functional team of data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure.
