About the role:

As a Middle Java Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC using high coding standards and software best practices
• Develop product, deliver features and updates according to the product roadmap
• Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solution
• Participate in the team's activities according to the methodology used – daily meetings, plannings, retrospectives, etc

Requirements

Software Design:

• Use of the best practices and patterns when designing and implementing application components
• Describing own code within technical documents and simple diagrams

Software Development:

• Knowledge and experience in Java. Usage of main supporting third-party libraries
• Prior record of web applications development with using and configuring framework features
• Practical experience in writing complex queries to relational or NoSQL databases

Quality Assurance:

• Knowledge and experience in JUnit, Mockito
• Background in writing unit and integration tests
• Proposing code improvements

Software Deployment:

• Following the CI/CD process established on the project
• Using project infrastructure for development and troubleshooting

Desirable

• Participation in code reviews
• Knowledge and experience in application security concepts
• Hands-on experience with any message broker systems

Personal skills

Communication is a key. You speak and write in English fluently or at least at upper-intermediate level

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet business needs
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives

• Identify key business stakeholders and establish communication with them
• Gather primary functionality, quality characteristics of software behavior, and given constraints
• Elaborate business, information, and technology architectures mapping
• Elaborate architecture vision that satisfies architecturally significant requirements through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts implementation, and benchmarking
• Set up and manage architecture design and documentation processes
• Document and communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to major stakeholders
• Review and validate design decisions made downstream and ensure they satisfy the solution architecture vision

Requirements

• Solution architecture experience in a highly regulated business, preferably in multiple architecture domains
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Gaming domain knowledge is a huge plus
• Demonstrable experience in creating valuable solutions in a large-scale enterprise-class business and experience in dealing with C-suite decision-makers
• Particular experience in building cloud-based solutions in any delivery method (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) is a significant benefit
• Clear understanding of highly engineered systems, complex and modern SDLC, and high degrees of automation is an advantage
• Experience in describing architectures within a prescribed framework
• Experience of Agile delivery and ways of working
• Fluent English

Desirable

• Certifications on: Architecture framework (SEI, TOGAF, etc.)
• Cloud computing platforms
• Delivery processes (SAFe, Agile, etc)
• Experience with:
