Your Mission

We are looking for an Application Security Engineer with a strong passion for problem solving and attention to detail to join our team in Malaga.

What You'll Do

• Research, learn and work with the newest tools
• Work as part of the Fortris Security Team with a focus on application level security
• Implement a software assurance model designed to address security defects early in the delivery pipeline
• Perform security architecture design reviews for new features and product releases
• Perform code reviews and advise developers on remediation techniques
• Be an advocate for secure coding practices across all engineering teams
• Facilitate internal training on various security topics to raise awareness and interest
• Manage external- and perform your own- penetration tests, and lead remediation projects to enhance existing security features
• Improving the Secure Software Development Lifecycle, working with and keeping development teams up to date with secure coding practices
• Create documentation and presentations for security champions on the development team

What You'll Bring

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 5 years in Cybersecurity and Application development
• Advanced level of English
• Experience in Security Engineering, Threat Modelling, Penetration Testing and Security Code Review
• Deep knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities (e.g. Injection Attacks, XSS, CSRF, etc.) and their mitigation strategies
• Experience in OWASP ASVS Implementation and verification
• Experience in developing web applications and Java programming
• Deep knowledge of standards and methodologies OWASP, PTES
• Experience with security assessment tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.
• Experience with secure coding practices and automating security checks in pipelines
• Hands-on experience implementing and tuning SAST/DAST
• You have the ability to exploit security flaws on web applications and APIs manually

Your Mission

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a complex and constantly evolving industry to join our Customer Success team. You’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships, ensuring they have the best possible experience with us and that their business operations are supported at all times.

We’re looking for someone who can develop an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ needs and can confidently build strong, loyal relationships with different stakeholders across the organisation to help fulfil these needs. You’ll help to bridge the gap between our customers, and our Product, Delivery, Sales and Support teams.

You’ll be the main point of contact for our customers, managing the touch points at key stages in their customer journey such as onboarding, go-live and updates. You’ll help resolve problems, working with your Fortris colleagues to provide exceptional customer service, even in challenging situations.

What You'll Do

You’ll also be at the forefront of growing the Customer Success team at Fortris.

• Build an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our customers by working closely with the Sales team
• Guide and advise our customers throughout the onboarding process
• Understand our customer’s strategic goals and educate them on how to get the best out of our product
• Nurture the relationships between us and our customers to enhance loyalty
• Ensure our customers are satisfied with our product and service
• Actively work to fix issues, before they become issues
• Ability to gather and analyse data, and use it to present and deliver key messages, written and verbally to senior stakeholders
• Keep stakeholders other teams up-to-date with the status of all of our customers

What You Bring

• At least 5 year's previous experience working in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
• Ability to understand the complexities of the financial technology industry
• Can easily grasp technical concepts and be able to translate them into understandable, meaningful content for our customers
• Empathy and a passion for customer experience
• Self-motivated with a positive, structured approach
• Excellent, eloquent, written and verbal communication skills

• Design, code review, static analysis, continuous integration
• Automated, performance, penetration and functional testing
• Participate in the design process and create / edit / review design suggestions and documentation
• Find and implement simple solutions for complex problems
• Interact directly with the product owners and key stakeholders

What You Bring

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of experience as Backend Engineer
• Advanced level of English
• Exposure to a wide range of technologies and best software practices
• A pragmatic attitude and approach to solving problems
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new technologies, and programming languages
• Must be a team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Have strong knowledge in Java (minimum Java 8)
